The 55th Presidential Inaugration.

Today we witnessed President George W. Bush take the oath of office for his second term. This was this nations 55th Presidential Inauguration and only the 16th time we have Inaugurated a president for a second term. It seems all went well protesters were not a problem and the weather maintained a brisk but tollerable mid 30's to 40's temp.

A standing ovation for the troops was a memorable part of the ceremony, As well as one of the most powerful inauguration speeches I've ever heard. The President seemed resolved to maintain and not backslide in his promise to the American people to protect our intrests both here and abroad.

An invocation was given at both the begining and end of the ceremony, Which I thought was wonderful. And when the President mentioned God in his speech he also mentioned some of the many religions that make up the fabric of this nation, not just Christianity.

I say congratulaions to The President and may god continue to bless him and our Nation.
