Terrorist detainees:Credible witnesses?
This is unreal I've already voiced my opinion on the Abu Grhaib scandel. I just wanted to post a little piece on this article. I can't believe a jury will convict Spec. Charles Graner Jr. Based on testomony of two terrorists who hate America so much they camed armed and ready to kill American troops before they were detained as enemy combatants to begin with. One actually had an Iraqi guard smuggle him a handgun into the prison. These are dangerous people who hate Americans, And will surely say anything if it means ruining ones life.
My question is do you think these guys would love Americans today if they had'nt been made to masturbate or been led around a prison on a dog chain? I think not. These detainees should only be glad they were'nt caputered by terrorists or instead of being forced to wear thier underwear on thier heads they may have had thier heads placed on thier backs, like the videos we've seen come from Al-Jazeers of Americans and other world citizens who were captured by the terrorists. Think about that for just a minute.

"Terrorist" is not the same as "person fighting for the enemy." What terrorist acts by the witnesses are you referring to? All the actions by Al-Sheikh cited in your linked article were directed against troops, not civilians or random targets.
And if you think their testimony is made-up, why are you referring in the second paragraph to the acts of which Graner is accused as if they actually happened? Why is his lawyer comparing them to innocent college fun rather than denying them? And why, if the witnesses are themselves terrorists, do you think bad things would have happened to them if they had been captured by terrorists?
Pick one. Either say the accusations are lies, or say that they're true and Graner's actions were fine and wonderful. You're trying to say both at once.
Mr McGrath this is a blog where I post my own opinions. Please do not confuse this with journalism, But thank-you for your opion just the same.
